The Day The Black Man Died is the name of a long term project for soundscapes in which the guitar (or bass guitar) and chanting vocals have a central role. The Day The Black Man Died - which isn't about a racial black man btw - creates an intense melancholic mood by making minimal soundscapes. Dark, minimal, pulsing, pitch black, religious, desert, postrockish, sadness, beauty, cold, warm are some other words that would go for these soundscapes.
